WE ARE BACK! one ton build!

What happens here

Once the new axle tubes are completely welded to the differential housing, the custom axle housing fabrication is complete. The video concludes by showcasing the finished assembly, demonstrating how the new, possibly stronger or custom-width, axle tubes are seamlessly integrated with the original differential housing. At this stage, the axle housing is ready for subsequent steps (not shown in this video), which typically include thorough cleaning, surface preparation, painting to prevent corrosion, and the installation of internal components such as inner axle shafts, bearings, seals, and brake mounting hardware. A final inspection should be performed to ensure weld quality and structural integrity before any further assembly or vehicle installation.

Goal: Present the completed custom axle housing

Tools and materials

  • Completed Axle Housing N/A — The final fabricated component, ready for further assembly and vehicle integration
  • Automotive Paint — The final protective and aesthetic coating for the axle housing
  • Automotive Primer — Providing a base coat for paint, improving adhesion, and offering initial corrosion protection
  • Metal Cleaner / Degreaser — Preparing the metal surfaces for paint by removing oils, grease, and contaminants
