What happens here

This video demonstrates a quick and effective method to straighten bent handlebars on a Honda Grom motorcycle. The process involves loosening the triple tree clamp bolts, manually aligning the handlebars with the front wheel, and then re-tightening the bolts to secure the corrected position. This DIY fix is presented as a straightforward solution for a common issue on motorcycles, particularly after minor mishaps.

what's up guys we're in the garage tonight we got the cold one we got the bikes we're gonna work on some [ __ ] let's get out of there all right like i was saying welcome back got the beer got the bikes so for tonight these handlebars are bent i don't know if you can see it or not the wheel's straight the handlebars are not so i was googling it online they said that i can remove these right here and then bounce up and down on the handlebars a couple times and that should straighten them out but i don't know we're gonna see also when i bought this bike i thought i had an injector problem so i went ahead and i bought new fuel lines and injectors so i'm probably going to go ahead and swap all that out tonight because i have no need for it just sitting there i don't want to sell it just in case i need it i might keep it and in case i need it then i have it i'm not too sure yet i might put it in am i not we'll see the bike runs great without it so there's probably no need to replace it but probably won't work on this tonight but but i absolutely do have to get those bars straightened out i got some other stuff on here that i want to get done but uh we'll see so without further ado let's work on some bikes let's drink some beer listen to some music just a night in the garage you know i got uh two other videos we went ryan yesterday and uh i the gopro messed up and what happened was i ended up taking a bunch of photos like 900 and some photos instead of a video which would have been sick because we had a bunch of people we were doing burnouts freaking revving high like it would have been a sick video but i was stupid and didn't even realize that the gopro was in camera mode instead of video mode so once i realized it i tried to record the rest of the day of riding and stuff like that but i don't know how good it's gonna turn out but i'm gonna go ahead and make that video i also have the video where i talk about the grom and when i got that um i would like to try to release the video on thursday talking about the channel stuff like that but i don't know if it's gonna be too cold to ride so it might just be a garage day on thursday we'll figure it out from there but i want to definitely get four videos up for you guys over the next four weeks i'm gonna do one video a week probably on wednesdays give you that midweek hump kind of video so don't further ado let's get after these bikes hey all right guys i'm gonna go ahead and start on the steering right about here i gotta loosen that bolt there these bolts here and repeat on the other side uh i just built the tripod for this gopro and i don't know how it's working i know it's like kind of i don't know we'll see how it works but i'm gonna go ahead and do that i got my allen keys right here i'm gonna go ahead and take them off um i'm gonna put you guys in a time lapse while i do it i'll set you up in the corner and kind of uh put you guys in time lapse while i'm working on this because it's pretty self-explanatory you just get an allen key get allen key right in there loosen them up loosen them up and then jump on the bars and stuff stuff like that so i'm definitely going to get a time lapse of this see you guys working on the person excuse me i'm going to turn some music on and youtube likes to copyright every time i play music while i'm in the garage so that ain't cool but let's start cheers yeah that's a good one time to get another eh well i really hope that time lapse works be worked because i'm not really sure how gopro works yet so but sure [ __ ] guys so i [ __ ] took my oh i just had it right here took my six millimeter allen key set and loosened this bolt here these two bolts here and all i did was basically sat up here and jumped on the grom and then i came out here put my legs on the tires twisted the bars and they're straight so i'm gonna go ahead and tighten everything back up and then i'll show you guys what it looks like when i'm done so let's get it all right guys just got the bolts tightened up use the six millimeter allen key to tighten those bolts like i've stated beforehand uh so i'm gonna show you guys what it looks like now i think in the video i made you guys probably see it but now with the video i made last week i'm riding the grom introducing or whatever you can see how bent the bars are so the guy had this before me looped it or did something to it and the bar's bent and i thought it was gonna be a big deal but i took a look at it and the triple tree was okay the forks were okay so i started searching online google and stuff like that and i found out how to do this i thought it was gonna be this chrome this chrome nut right here you take it off and twist it but it's not at all it's just those bolts down there but here let me show you so here's the bars there's the wheel it already feels better like it felt weird when i was riding it earlier but like it just feels feels a lot better and it could probably even go more so no this might be good actually this might be good but uh no that that'll work it already feels better though for sure like i like it a lot man i'm super excited for this grom like this thing's gonna be super fun like i love the sportster and all but there's just something about ripping around town on the ground that can't be be like it's just so much work to take to take this thing out you know you gotta back it out the garage and any parking spot you wanna use you gotta back it out and stuff like that like this thing i can literally pick the front end of this up and spin it all the way around and pull out like it's extremely light i love it i can't wait to learn my stand-up wheelies on here i got my stunt cage down here which i don't know if i'm gonna put on i heard good things with bad things about them that if you drop it they will bend your frame and stuff so i'm not really sure if i'm gonna put it on but i guess we'll see so i'm gonna i'm gonna check the oil on this thing see how that is i might do some other little stuff here and there um [Music] but i'm probably just gonna drink beer and listen to music so i'll get this video up for you guys i know it wasn't much but it was a little something a little update as to what's happening if i do anything else on this ground i'll definitely grab the camera and let you guys know but until then hope you all have a great week great weekend get out and ride always keep it freaking two wheels down and uh you're not living unless you're living lost so let's take one last day all right guys peace [Music] you
