Toro's BIGGEST stand on mower

What happens here

Explore Toro's Horizon360 software, a business management tool designed for contractors. The software features a virtual estimating system that allows users to map out mowing areas (including or excluding specific zones like buildings or parking lots) and generate accurate bids by incorporating materials, labor rates, and equipment rates. It eliminates the need for physical on-site measurements. Additionally, Horizon360 includes GPS tracking for equipment, providing real-time data on usage (working, idle, location) and alerting users if equipment operates outside designated areas. The software is available in three tiers (free, $99, $199) and offers a 6-month free premium trial using the promo code 'DIRTMONKEY'.

Goal: Streamline estimating, routing, and equipment management for landscaping operations.

years ,200 all right guys we're going to break into today's video cuz it is sponsored by Toro just so you know and we're going to take a look at a brand new program that Toro has out it's called Horizon 360 right Angela and this is Angela and she's actually one of the co-founders of it and this program does some very interesting unique things that can help contractors out and one of them is estimating yes yep so we've got a full virtual estimating system built in so no longer do you have to go out and physically walk that property you're going to be able to map out full inclusion and exclusion zones for any service that needs to be done add those materials labor rates equipment rates whatever needs to be added right on there to make sure that you're getting an accurate bid out to that customer while also comparing it to what it's going to cost you to do that job so what are we looking at right here Angela yes this is just an example of one that I did so this whole green area I took and I mapped out my mowing area that I want to do of course I'm not mowing where the parking lot the building the pools the roundabouts are so I chose to map those out and exclude those from my total square footage so again I don't have to have um anything out there physically to walk it I'm able to get that right away right just for mapping it out okay and then what we seeing on this side cuz you said this actually helps you complete your estimates so you're not guessing ex exactly so what is it telling me over here yep so you're able to set whether it's a service a material um you're able to set if that's a flat rate or if you're charging that per hour per manh hour per equipment hour usage um or how much of anything that you're using it's going to do all that math for you and automatically give you that bid um and compare it to what you need so if you charge x amount for square footage you want to make sure that you're given a good bid on what it's also going cost you in terms of how many people it's going to take and how long it's going to take and what you usually charge to to to do that job as well too so it'll map out your estimate for you so this will kind of help you guys dial in y their numbers exactly but it also does routing it also has a unit where we're going to get more into this you can hook GPS units up to your equipment and you know when your equipment's working yep when it's sitting yep where it's at yep if it's working where it's not supposed to be working…
