What happens here
Once the HVAC unit is removed from the vehicle, take it to a workbench. Disassemble the plastic casing of the HVAC box to expose the internal components. This usually involves removing numerous screws and clips. Carefully extract the faulty evaporator core or heater core that requires replacement or repair. Install the new or repaired component into the HVAC box, ensuring all seals and gaskets are correctly seated. Reassemble the HVAC box casing. Once the AC or HVAC repair within the unit is complete, the entire disassembly process must be reversed to reinstall the HVAC unit, dashboard, and all interior components. This involves reconnecting all electrical, fluid, and refrigerant lines, refilling the coolant system, evacuating and recharging the AC system, and performing leak checks.
Goal: Repair the AC system and fully reassemble the vehicle's interior.
