What happens here

With all electrical connections and the steering column cleared, locate and remove all bolts, nuts, and clips that secure the dashboard frame to the vehicle's chassis and firewall. These fasteners are typically found along the base of the windshield, on the sides near the A-pillars, and along the lower firewall. Once all fasteners are removed, carefully slide the entire dashboard assembly out of the vehicle. This step often requires two people due to the size and awkwardness of the dashboard assembly. The video shows the entire dashboard unit removed and placed on a stand.

Goal: Completely extract the dashboard structure from the vehicle's cabin.
