Cement and Install the New Flange

What happens here

Apply a liberal coat of Oatey Medium Black ABS Cement around the inside edge of the existing ABS pipe and on the outside diameter of the new spigot-style flange. Ensure both surfaces are fully coated for a strong, watertight bond. Immediately after applying cement, push the new flange down over the existing pipe and give it a quarter turn to spread the adhesive evenly. Hold the flange firmly in place for a few moments to allow the cement to set, preventing it from lifting.
