This was just NASTY! Something NEW is Hatching on the Farm today!
What happens here
Candling is the process of shining a bright light through the egg to observe the embryo's development and viability. The Chickcozy incubator has a built-in egg candler for this purpose. Refer to the provided incubation progress chart to identify viable eggs versus unfertilized or deceased embryos. A viable egg will show blood vessels and sometimes movement, while a non-viable egg may appear clear (unfertilized yolk) or show a dark ring (dead embryo). Remove any non-viable eggs to prevent potential contamination.
Goal: Identify and remove non-viable eggs to ensure a healthy hatch.
