Install Ground Rod and Connect Ground Wire

What happens here

Install the galvanized ground rod provided in the kit. The ground rod serves as a stand for the solar energizer and is crucial for proper grounding. Locate a suitable spot for the ground rod, preferably not in a shady area, as it needs to be accessible to direct sunlight for the solar panel. Tap the ground rod firmly into the ground using a hammer or mallet, ensuring it is secure but not driven all the way in if you plan to move the fence regularly. Connect the black ground wire from the energizer to the ground rod using the provided clamp.

Goal: Establish proper electrical grounding for the fence system.
