What happens here

To access the enclosed area, you can either step over the fence after turning off the energizer, or simply step on the netting to push it down and walk over it (it will spring back up). For tightening any sagging lines in the netting, simply wrap the netting material around one of the posts to take up the slack. Ensure the energizer is off when adjusting to avoid accidental shocks. If the ground is dry and the fence is not delivering a strong enough shock, pour a bucket of water around the base of the ground rod to improve conductivity.

Goal: Understand how to access the enclosure, maintain the fence, and troubleshoot common issues.

Tools and materials

  • Bucket of Water — To improve ground rod conductivity in dry soil
  • Electric Netting Starkline — The primary component for access and maintenance
