This "Secret" made me A LOT of money

What happens here

The main video shows the Kubota excavator, now fitted with the mulcher attachment, efficiently clearing dense overgrown vegetation from a ditch. The mulcher grinds down the brush and small trees, revealing a clear waterway. Over this footage, the presenter shares a detailed anecdote about a past job. Early in his career, he bid $5,500 for a pond de-mucking project for the state of Minnesota. Due to state regulations requiring multiple bids, the project was re-bid. By the time it came around again, he was fully booked. Recognizing the state's need and his own busy schedule, he decided to multiply his original bid by three, submitting a new bid of $16,500. Another contractor bid $33,000. Despite his significantly higher second bid, he won the contract for $16,500, completing the work in a single afternoon with his crew.

Goal: The excavator operates the mulcher to clear overgrown vegetation from a ditch. The presenter narrates a story about bidding on a pond de-mucking job for the state of Minnesota, significantly increasing his bid due to being busy and still securing the contract.

up the state of Minnesota taught me this one when I said there's a secret way to make a lot of money I learned it from the state of Minnesota when I was very young in my career they contacted me about cleaning out a pond I had to go demu it and it was early in the spring and I was hungry I was just a young contractor and wanted to make some money I bid this job that's cleaning out this pond at $5,500 and to me this was an excellent job early spring job super easy maybe a day project at best and I really wanted this thing and I kept contacting the state hey can we do this job can we do this job and I finally got a response saying that they had to let it for bid and that's the terminology that they use when they say they have to put this out and get multiple bids they can't just give a project to one person rightfully so well I was a young hungry contractor and I wasn't going to sit and wait so I kept bidding kept bidding and I started to fill up my schedule fill up my schedule and I got my schedule completely full and by the time they came back around to allowing this to bid I was already busy I couldn't even take on any more work but they did reach out to me and say hey St we need a bid on doing this Pond now my original bid was $5,500 the state was expecting me to turn in a bid for $5,500 but I was busy so I took that $5,500 Bid And I multiplied it by three I turned in a bid for the exact same work for $16,500 and I handed it over to them and I didn't even blink cuz I was didn't care I was busy and they looked at it now this is let forbid and this is a public bid meaning that they have to open this in front of the public public and I was the only public that attended the bid opening cuz I was curious to see what everybody else was going to do in this thing I was one of two biders the second bid that came in $33,000 now of course I got the job and it was an easy job it took me a single afternoon to do it two wheelbarrows three of us guys went out and Dem mucked a pond and we put a lot of money into our pocket really fast but that taught me a couple different lessons and the first one is when I said you have probably paid for this lesson if you have ever gone to the post office FedEx UPS they give you options how fast do you want your project done do you want
