What happens here

Once all soldering is complete and the joints have cooled, the main water shut-off valve is slowly opened, allowing water to trickle back into the system. This gradual reintroduction of water helps prevent water hammer and allows for initial leak detection. An inspection mirror is used to carefully examine all newly soldered joints for any drips or weeping. Once all connections are confirmed to be leak-free, the new shut-off valve inside the box is opened slightly to ensure water flows through it (as demonstrated by filling a cup). Finally, the main water shut-off valve is fully opened to restore complete water pressure to the household.

Goal: After soldering, the water supply is gradually turned back on, and all new connections are meticulously checked for any signs of leaks before fully restoring water pressure.
