Remove Old Leaking Valve and Pipe

What happens here

With the water supply safely off and the line drained, a mini hacksaw is used to cut the copper pipe section directly connected to the leaking shut-off valve. This allows for the complete removal of the damaged valve and any associated corroded pipe sections, making way for the new installation. Precision is important to make clean cuts and avoid damaging surrounding structures or other plumbing.

Goal: Using a mini hacksaw, the existing corroded shut-off valve is carefully cut away from the copper pipe it's connected to, removing the faulty component.
