What happens here

This video demonstrates the 'Form Extender', a tool designed to simplify concrete formwork by allowing users to easily navigate around obstacles, extend forms, and create complex shapes without extensive cutting or additional bracing. It showcases various applications for the 4-inch, 18-inch long Form Extender, as well as discussing options for 2x6 and 2x8 forms, highlighting how it reduces labor and material waste in concrete projects.

Hey, Brad. What are we looking at with this now? Well, here we got our 4-in 18-in long gap form extender. These are designed to go right on a 2 by 4. They go around obstacles where there's maybe pavers, sprinkler heads, plastic landscape edging, water shutoffs. We can also put them around deck posts. You got fence posts, deck posts, you don't have to cut your boards to fit anymore. You just pop them right in places like that. They can straddle stakes, forms. It just makes your life so much easier. You got just a regular gap here, too. You can put them in like that. If you're coming around a corner, they pop right off. You can stick them on the end of a run. They're supported on the top there. They're not going to kick back on you. You don't need to put that extra screw in for bracing. You can run them by in a situation like this. Just catch them on a couple inches is all you need. So, instead of running back to the truck and trying to cut a board and get it in there, you slap this on and go. >> Yep. Yeah, we hardly even measure our boards anymore. We see a 10-ft gap, we grab about a 9-footer, we throw an 18-in in there, on our way, we're done. What are we looking at here, though? So, here we got a transition to a flex form. Maybe you got your 2 by 4s. A lot of guys will run these by. Well, now you can have your boards shorter. You don't need to put that stake in front. You can just clip this in here. Your board can be short there. You can just put a stake behind it. It's not going to float to the front. You don't have to fill that stake hole later. It just makes it a lot quicker, a lot easier, and it does a better job for you, too. Now, you have different sizes available? So, we make them from 6-in all the way up to 5-ft long. So, here'd be a 3-footer. This is really good for if you're running patios. If you're doing a wheelbarrow into a patio area, you leave a little slot out. When your wheelbarrow's full >> you have a 2 by 6 form? Yep, we got 2 by 6. We make them in 2 by 6s. We also do 2 by 8s. So, if you're doing footings, these work great for footings. All right, Brad. Where do guys find these at? >> Uh formextender.com. We got a lot of local stores starting to pick them up, too. So, yeah, check them out. Thanks. Thank you, sir.
