The Jk Gets some Paracord mods along with a how-to! Getting lost in the garage episode 2.

What happens here

After removing the factory limiting strap, reinsert the two original bolts back into their respective holes on the Jeep door frame. Tighten these bolts securely with the T27 Torx bit and ratchet. These bolts will serve as the anchor points for the new paracord limiting strap. The presenter notes his bolts are rusty; consider cleaning or replacing rusty bolts for better aesthetics and longevity.

Goal: Create secure attachment points for the paracord strap.

All right, guys. Once you have this off, you're going to want to put the bolts back in because this is what you're going to have to attach your paracord to. I had this limiting strap off. This is no longer You're going to want to keep this because this is what powers your door locks and whatnot. So, you're going to want to keep that for sure. Go ahead here and tighten. Now, my stuff is pretty rusty, so I should go over sand it and paint it.
