The easy way to install a package of honey bees in a new hive. Poacher on the farm!! Trespassing!

What happens here

The presenter prepares the hive entrance by installing an entrance reducer on the smallest opening. This is crucial for new colonies to better defend against pests and robbers. He then stuffs grass into the entrance hole. This method encourages the bees to chew their way out, providing a couple of days for them to acclimate to their new hive and queen, which helps prevent them from immediately flying away ('absconding'). He then introduces his friend Julian, who has no prior beekeeping experience, and both don full bee suits (including hats with netting) for safety.

Goal: Secure the hive entrance and prepare the new beekeeper for bee handling.
