Precision Paver Cutting Around Pool Curves

What happens here
To cut pavers that conform perfectly to the curved pool coping, a custom-made wooden jig is employed. This jig has two screws at one end that ride along the pool's concrete edge, and a pencil at the other, set at a 9-inch offset to mark the paver's cut line. This creates a consistent offset curve. The marked pavers are then cut using a wet-cut saw, which utilizes water to keep the blade cool and minimize dust. Careful and precise cuts ensure a seamless and professional finish around the pool's unique shape. The cut pavers are rinsed immediately to remove slurry.
Goal: This step demonstrates the use of a specialized cutting jig and a wet-cut saw to achieve perfectly curved paver cuts that precisely match the pool's coping.
