Process Logs and Collect Firewood

What happens here

For thicker sections or entire logs, the Husqvarna 460 Rancher gas chainsaw is employed. The Log Ox forestry multitool is used to lift and stabilize logs, keeping them off the ground to prevent the chainsaw chain from hitting dirt and dulling. This technique allows for efficient cross-cutting of larger diameter wood. Once cut, selected logs suitable for firewood are loaded into the back of a Kubota RTVX1140 utility vehicle, while other pieces may be further reduced for chipping.

Goal: Larger logs are processed using a heavy-duty chainsaw and a log ox, either for chipping or to be collected as firewood.
