Testing a New Hair Catcher for the Bathtub!

hey folks that fix it guy here and a little while back i had somebody reach out to me about a hair catching solution for a tub shower combo right so that's why i'm sitting from my tub right now we are fixing to talk about something i think is a pretty awesome product literally all you do is set it in place so come along let's get to fixing [Music] [Applause] these guys made something called it's umbrella right they sent this out and come they came in this cool little package they actually sent out five so i sent four out to some subscribers just did a giveaway on a live stream and i just said hey if you wouldn't mind giving me some feedback a short video a little review however you want to do it i would really appreciate it so this is me putting mine in and those guys have getting theirs and they're getting them put in and we're gonna give a nice review as this goes along so today i'm just going to show you how it goes in and then we'll check on it periodically all right so this is actually the tabrella it looks just like a little cone another cool thing before i forget these guys are awesome man they just put a nice little picture they explain what the tubbrella is they got a cute family and then they have some real amazon reviews on the back right just to let you know like hey they've got some happy customers with this thing and so right away you can see i mean it's it's actually pretty hefty it looks it's cool packaging um in some ways it looks like a cheese grater or maybe you could use uh this is a an extra mouse trap if you lost the top of your mouse trap game now we lost our mouth trap there we go we're off boom boom oh no okay so here's the tubbrella comes in all different colors right i sent out all the other colors to other people i think clear and black and pink and blue and red and yeah white so literally it just pops over that right like that and that's the way it work that's the way it's supposed to work so we're gonna see all right i'm gonna tell you this thing is it's actually it's pretty heavy on the top end like you're able to grab that it's gonna sit down on there like this piece right here that's solid stainless steel on the top that's just a big old chunk of steel and then this little mesh wiring around the inside and the one thing i like about it is i don't actually have to take out my drain to make this thing happen and for it to catch hair so let's just give it a go we'll just use it like we normally do and we'll come back and check it okay so i just want to show you after like one use that's what we're looking at all right so you see there's a little bit of hair up there it doesn't it stops it all from going in the drain it doesn't actually collect it like that way the prettiest i'm sure over time it probably would right but this is just one go i'm gonna let this go now for as long as my wife will allow me all right we'll see how much hair collects here so here's another interesting thing i've noticed about this watch this when you crank this up you can see that it kind of slides off of it it slides off the drain a little bit but then you start it starts running the water and it just drops right back in place that weight on top man is a good design okay so the one thing with the tubbrella is you're probably gonna want to clean it after each use right you've seen what that was like after one shower day that was easy to manage this right here it's not really this is too much this is easily a little over a week worth of hair here and i'm fixing to show you what it looks like every time you turn the tub on it's kind of crazy my wife finally said enough is enough so check this out this is every time you turn the tub on you get that going then you get this going and until your shower starts you've got hair going everywhere all right then when you let that out that's what it looks like you definitely want to just clean that out after every use all right so let's go get up on this bad boy my wife just got out of the tub and this is what we're looking at i mean this is fresh soap debris you can see how built up this is the one complaint she had while she was showering is that the tub kind of pulled up around the drain a little bit because of so much hair right i mean she sheds a lot of hair every time she bathes it works it definitely catches the hair right and so then it is just kind of easy cleanup you're able to just pull it off so you can see there's no hair underneath there it's all right here and just take this and she's lucky i'm cleaning this off for that's for sure and good to rock and roll set her back down in place and good for another use all right so i sent out four different colored tub shrooms all across the country and this is what my subscribers had to say casey from alabama says it was a great tool to catch hair it was very stable with the weight on top the color was a pretty pink with no fading sandy in virginia wrote i found this device so helpful in preventing hair from clogging up my drains it's amazing such small product would do such a great job of preventing that dreaded drain clog commander bacon from mississippi writes it captures hair very well it's great for a tub and all in all it does exactly as advertised steve from pennsylvania says first off we love it and put it to good use it keeps all the hair from stopping up my tub drain which i had to clean constantly with my missus having long hair the only complaint is to keep it in place when you turn the water on and get that first blast out of the faucet it moves off the drain or you kick it while showering other than that it works great okay folks so that's my tub reload review all right big shout out to all the subscribers that help me out with this as well you guys are wonderful i really hope in the future we can do another giveaway on a live stream and then maybe do another review right because it's all about you guys you guys are the ones that are doing this too right we actually find this product very helpful my wife enjoys cleaning this out way more than she enjoys cleaning out the tub shroom so this is what's been in our tub for a little while now so if you could please subscribe to the channel click that like button it'd be greatly appreciated thank you very much and we'll see you again real soon go ahead give it a crank oh oh no shot the ball across is really time this is really silly you are correct
