hey folks that fix it guy here so i was just helping logan fix it swap out his handlebar grips on his little razor scooter here you can see these things were all beat up okay and we were using the compressor and it just made me think i i just wanted to show you guys a quick little compressor tip so come along let's get to fix it [Music] [Applause] okay so you're done using your compressor i don't use my compressor a lot a little pancake compressor is awesome though but you want to take care of it so when you're done blow it out you don't want a pressured vessel setting anywhere anyway right just in case you never know but you could sit here you could blow it out this way this right here is the pressure relief valve every one of them is going to have it pop that and that's going to bleed it all out but if you want to keep your compressor in optimal condition flip it over to the bottom and there's going to be a valve in the very bottom too this is actually going to help you to bleed condensate out right because every tank every time you put air in something whether it's the the difference in temperature whether it's something while you're making air you're also going to get a little bit of condensate this is actually going to help blow that condensate out okay let me show you up close if we get down right here and you're just able to turn this get down right here okay so you turn the valve counterclockwise to open it once it's open you're going to see that air and water mix is going to start coming out you're going to have to fidget with a little bit sometimes just to continue to get it going until the tank is blood dry and then you just go ahead and close this back up and you're gonna be ready to go for the next time okay so emptying that little drain port on the bottom of your tank is going to ensure that you're not going to have a big condensate buildup and trust me if you have a big enough condensate buildup after a while it's going to turn murky and rusty and brown the water is going to be horrible if you've never done this and you take that off don't be surprised if it just streams out brown you might want to do it outside all right i really hope this video helps if you guys can please subscribe to the channel click the like button we're just trying to help we we love doing that and we really hope that we can continue to keep doing that thank you very much and we'll see you again real soon
