TAKING A STAND ON TRESPASSERS! PROTECTING MY LAND! FUN WITH DUCKS, GARDEN WEEDING TIPS

anybody else out there have a very hardheaded wife hardheaded you got to get in here and catch them [Music] who so the best thing about being married to a short woman is that she can fit into small tight spaces and we're going to catch these ducks first we're going to move the coupe over to a fresh clean grass so that my wife Mrs Stony Rich doesn't get duck poop all over her or maybe she will stay tuned here's how we move the bubble Coop guys lift up give her a tug duckies now we're on fresh ground all right so guys somehow we've got to get down in here we've got to recruit these two guys come and play with us duckies we're going to take the Ducks to the pond today this is the point where Mrs sty Ridge hands me a duck just run them over to here okay it's okay just run them over to here go ahead little little them over here come on come over come on over come run him over come on ducky come on come on a all right hang on hey guys today is the day this is the great duck release party and we're going to take the duckies over to the pond and let them in the pond for the first time and this will be their new home so Pond's pretty close to the road so we shouldn't have to worry about any predators and we'll get to take our duckies over there so pretty cool it's the great duck release party ow okay we got one duck W not good on my party ducky come on ducky come on run him over here come little poor thing he's not very happy a it's okay all right guys so we got the duckies here in the cage little dog crate here and we're going to take them over to the pond and show you what their first little reaction is over in the pond water should be pretty cool guys I also wanted to talk to you about another problem that we're having we've had trespassers again at our pond fishing we've called the police on these people and they keep coming back I put no trespassing signs all over the place made my farm look like crap by having to put these stupid no trespassing signs up tell me what you think about that I don't have a lag to stand on with these guys trespassing if I don't put big bright orange ugly yellow no trespassing signs it's absolutely ridiculous thank you lawyers thank you so much for not giving me land rights like I should have so that being said since we put up all our no trespassing signs this sign right here will go up right behind where everybody always fishes see what they think about that makes me mad so another thing we're going to talk about is weeding weeding the garden with compost okay so this section of Garden right here I've already spread compost on it it's doing great but on back here you can see all the weeds and we'll take you through the garden we'll show you what we do this is something that you could do in your garden at home it also benefits the soil and it stops the weeds from growing so come along with me today on the Vlog we'll show you all the cool stuff going on let's go release them Ducks woo guys something else that we're doing to deter trespassers we've started cutting trees on the farm and I don't know if you've seen any of the Vlogs but uh there'll be some links at the end of this video but uh to show you where we're cutting trees but we'll be able to see our pond now from our front porch and also we got a solution to the washing problem that we had when the pond overflowed the dam and there'll be a link to that video too but we've got some uh rip raft Rock right here and we're going to put that in place around where the uh Pond was washing over a lot of things going on here on the farm been kind of slow putting up the Vlogs lately because I've just been so dog on and busy uh if you look over here you can see where they've been cutting trees and like I said now we can see the pond so we can babysit the pond a little bit better see what I mean there's some litter that these people are leaving and now I have to put these ugly no trespassing signs up here's our pond something you guys need to know about these ducks is they are absolutely in love with each other I'm going to get one out of the cage and the other one won't shut up the whole time watch oh he pretty ain't he pretty yeah see what I mean they love each other we're going to let them both go here okay there you go ducky there you go let's get the other one here we go ducky two duck friends ducky water maybe they will let's watch them for a minute what do you think duckies what do you think duckies that a I know we love you there they go happy ducks there you go doing so good we come back up here and check on them in about an hour or so I think they're happy guys so besides the no trespassing signs every 200 ft which is required by law I also put this little cute sign right here and I think maybe this will help to deter any turds from coming down here and fishing in my pond property rights guys got to protect them it's America woo all right guys so we've already got the ducks in the pond and we've done a little work around here and I want to show you what we're doing this is compost and we got compost in the video I'll show you at the end I'll I'll post a link to but we got another video uh about going to get compost at the local landfill so this compost we're going to put down on the ground around all of our plants in order to stop the weeds it's a little bit hot hot meaning that it's not quite uh finished its fermentation process so when I put it down on the weeds the Sun hits it and it bakes and kills the weeds I'll take you around the garden and show you but right now I'm going to fill this wheel Bear full and we'll go around and I'll show you what we're doing so guys I'll show you the garden where we've already weeded with this compost and this is weeding with compost I'll show you you go down here and you see there really are no weeds back in here in this area there's a few little weeds here and there but if you go down here here's a lot of weeds and we'll cover those up with compost and as we go down further further where we haven't put any compost in here there's a lot of weeds so guys I'll show you basically what we're doing we're just getting compost and we're going over top of these areas with weeds and just covering them up basically this this serves as a two-fold thing the uh black composted soil will help draw heat to the soil which will help the tomato plants grow and it'll draw enough heat to kill off the weeds so pretty cool you can basically do the same thing from home by buying bags of compost and just put them around your tomato plants I'm sure if you're gardening you might not be gardening to the extent we are I think we have 200 tomato plants so if you got 10 or 15 and the weeds are coming up around them just get you some compost sit it out in the sun spread it around your plants and it'll help them a whole lot it'll also help build that soil in your garden for next year so anyhow that's it we're going to get to work here have some
