Super Sleeper TRIPLE TURBO Cummins DUALLY Going For 2,000HP On The Dyno (We Had Some Problems...)

this is this is all of it what's in the line of fire right now uh the back of that cadillac the air compressor the wall just from here forward no you're fine back there it's rod bolts and rods oh okay no broke the strap 2200 rpm came off the dyno ruined the tire tires are wiggle god you tell me you need to hang those off the bumper i know be like so you know how i got these i earned these boy so we're going to hang these on the wall in the showroom and have a dyno graph right beside it so that's a great idea now we got to figure out a way to get another tire on there i brought the the outside duals but they're aftermarket so you can't flip them and uh we're gonna turn it up again we're making 2000 today for sure today no we're doing two thousand something today i might have to go buy tires on facebook or something i don't know when i got here i told john i'm like i'm here to break [ __ ] he was like okay we did it where's the keys to the s plate in it okay let's go where's the tire shop at oh i think it'll be fine guys my duramax doesn't have brakes right now so this has been my daily driver for like the last week nice it doesn't even cover the whole carpet but all right it's cool it's cool i can clean it later for the glory right it just barely touches i mean when there's finally a vehicle in here that makes more power than i do the least i can do is help them get new tires i guess we're going to the tire shop yeah we made it to the tire shop yep it's a it's a street beater for sure so we're dyno in my truck 2 000 horsepower diesel and the dyno strap broke and we melted the tire so i need i need these two swaps when you make tons of power this is just the life you live [ __ ] happens every day it's like oh we're just going to go down on it right quick oh it spun the tires and then you put prep on it and then you put more straps and more prep and then a couple more straps and then they break so the plan after this is tied to logan's truck yep we got four more straps i have a truck limits the forward movement a couple straps down on the hitch to use the suspension how much can you do before it's like all right we should probably stop like oh like 1500 really yeah probably yeah even better yeah we're in the danger zone for sure danger zone of the engine or the whole thing so not a lot of people know it but the big motor is almost done and this motor was a backup motor from my race truck and i had a crack in it so we filled it full of concrete and stuck it in here and now we're here it's filled block does it have a wet head yes it does so it still doesn't get hot on the street no so cruising down the street like driving around here be like 180 degrees take a guess on what old temp is after 30 minutes of driving 260 200 wow really yeah i was kind of impressed i had a lot of haters saying it was gonna just go 260 280 right off the bat well it looks like he's almost done so we'll get this wrapped up head back over to the shop and see if we can drag logan's truck through the wall it sounds like a great idea in 2 000 horse this guy just tried charging chris 75 to mount and dismount a tire and then we were like bro what the heck that's like way more expensive than it ever is anywhere and he's like ooh let me go talk to somebody who walks around the corner for like literally a half a second doesn't talk to anybody he comes back and he's like let's do 50 and yeah i mean like yeah i got out 50 bucks but i mean we're gonna go make 2 000 horse that's true holy crap i pay 12 back home yeah that's that's that's probably how much he's gonna go put in the register and then put the rest in his pocket so ricky rick's tire service don't go there you'll get freaking scalded by everything freaking greasy employees i haven't paid cash you didn't even want to receive that's insane we just bought lunch we didn't know it if somebody if that to me i've been like bro no i'm not let me see your price sheet like that's true yeah that's bogus so they're finally ready to get back on it with the forklift what's your plan send it all the way all right that's very specific everybody's standing really far away i'm gonna hide behind john yeah bigger muscles here buddy this is not hard to catalyze all right well we'll hide behind these guys they work on this thing they know how sketchy it is [Applause] oh my god and uh today's shop forecast is cloudy with a chance to call was that just a test run to see if it would go through the wall no it looked like nitrous light out or something so oh do you got one two three four five six straps and a forklift and we got seven on standby just in case one starts to get wild it'll jump up and save the i can day that we have to pull out the old fronius magic wave i haven't gotten to use that thing a whole lot but you're about to test it out we're going to test it today just like that diesel i found the boost leak that there is uh substantial all the america's escaped diesel uh do you want aluminum or do you need me to do it oh that's that's you bro oh you're just a stainless guy stainless real pretty all right well i guess i'm about to clock in here you do stainless really well for someone who never does aluminum i'm gonna get this thing fired up it's seriously the best welder i've ever used like it is so awesome for aluminum and the stinky part is i haven't really done a whole lot of welding since i got it so you know i'm not really complaining at the opportunity to get back in there and do it it's a fronius magic wave 230i water cooled and it's got like you know i came from a basic welder that used all i had were amps and ac balance i didn't even have a pedal so this thing was just arc was all over the place on aluminum but this one it is like spot on and there's there's more settings on than i even know what they do it's just it just works really well well i fixed it it's not pretty but i couldn't get that gap to close the whole way and there's a distinct difference between making something pretty when it's a new piece of material and you get to fit upright and all that stuff and making sure something that's broken doesn't come back apart again like i was sitting there i had the heat you know cranked i mean it wasn't like crank crank but it was high and i'd sit in there and i would let that puddle get big and you know put the rod in and move forward and then i would not add the rod again until that keyhole flooded it because that's how i knew the pedal was wetted down the whole way through the groove to get this stitched up back the right way because the the old belt was on there had almost no penetration because it was just like a good looking weld i could have made it look nicer but we're just trying to get this thing stay together and make 2 000 horsepower in between all of that i am in here making thumbnails for the video that i'm gonna post today uh in the old office here at triple seven i guess we had like a class party or something here the other day and there's like some pizza birthday cake on the counter you know half cookie if you get hungry it's just part of the course i use photoshop to make my thumbnails by the way so i'm gonna get at this post this video while they put that back on and maximum efficiency just got that video scheduled the post and they're about to make pull again so great timing i keep running back and forth it's hot today i'm quite sweaty but this is going to be worth it forklift one bazillion straps only added one more hey john what are we doing here okay that's so sticky you can hear it 1929 1929 yeah we did 1915. once the haters always say we'll do it again well it did now we're going for two we'll let it cool off and go to lunch we're all hot anyways let the motor cool off come back and make it so close i got goosebumps it's right there it's right there how many pounds of boost was that uh probably around 70 65 70s normally kind of that power range oh that's it just 70 pounds i mean it used to do 120 but as we've learned things things have gotten better that's the lesson to be learned right there more boost is not always more horsepower it's just a measure of restriction right so what did you do is you have like a better better turbo's better head like yeah we really spent a lot more time on our cylinder head because we do all that at the shop we have a side draft a little bit better camshaft there's just a lot of tricks to it but just less restriction anywhere you see restriction that's going to be your horsepower in a wastegate way skates work if you know how to use them good job guys we know you're really trying hard we appreciate you we'll get you some tacos you too mr forklift you did your job good game we're backing back in action ready to super awesome cool looking wheels you're gonna put some more goo on there yeah i think so i think we do need a little bit more i'm gonna put some more goo on those dang it's amazing that a 265 fire can even like connect with the roller well enough with this kind of power and especially the torque down that's why it needs 80 million straps and a dang forklift we oh i smell it it smells great we should have sprayed the nitrous on the intercooler it's to break [ __ ] there's no doubt i've seen too many videos of people getting impaled and killed by cars breaking on the dyno yeah like that guy who gets hit by the flex plate and like bleeds out on the floor from the security camera that one's bad yeah it's real bad i've seen that one yeah i poured nobody threw it out right at him too yeah or like flex plate exploding taking your head off like that's not things happen that's not something i want to be if you want to be mr big man and stand right next to the car you go ahead i'll call the hospital whenever you're you know needing to be scraped off the and it's still alive that's the best part i'm stressed out is that the dyno record i believe so really 2021 somewhere in there dyno record held by a crew cab full interior dooley 2 000 horsepower diesel's energy than that what are we doing john 2 000 horsepower diesel stuff that's right you got so much tension on that back end no way those tires are just smashed into the roller well today it was totally killer i've been wanting to do a video on chris's truck for a while this is kind of even better but i'm also gonna get with him and like lay out the whole story of how it started how the build evolved kind of that stuff like i did with a couple of my friends and they're super awesome trucks so at least you got an introduction to them kind of see what the truck does and if you want to see the back story and what you want to hear about all that let me know in the comments we'll get with him pretty soon and do
