Test for Leaks

What happens here

To test the new installation, place the stopper in the drain and fill the sink basin with a few inches of water. Once filled, remove the stopper and let the water rush out. While the water is draining, carefully check all the connections underneath the sink, including the main retaining nut and both slip nuts, for any signs of dripping or leaks.

Goal: Verify the repair is complete and watertight.
