Stop The Leak In Your Kitchen Sink! Learn How To Replace The Drain Strainer
What happens here
Take a small amount of plumber's putty and knead it in your hands until it's soft and pliable. Roll it into a uniform rope about the thickness of a pencil. Wrap this rope of putty around the underside of the new strainer's flange. Carefully insert the new strainer into the sink opening from the top and press it down firmly to create an initial seal.
Goal: Seal and position the new basket strainer.
