What happens here
Once the vinyl plank is sufficiently scored, position it over a sturdy wooden block or similar support. Align the scored line precisely with the edge of the block. Apply downward pressure on the section of the plank that extends beyond the wooden block. The plank should snap cleanly along the score line. For tougher breaks or to ensure a complete separation, a tapping block and a hammer can be used to further assist in snapping the material.
Goal: Break the scored vinyl plank into two separate pieces.
