What happens here

This project demonstrates a DIY method to eliminate large gaps under stair spindles by creating and using a simple custom cutting jig with a miter saw. The jig allows for precise angled cuts on the spindle ends, ensuring a flush and professional-looking fit with the angled handrail or stringer, addressing a common issue in stair installation.

This is some of the sloppy work we see on job sites all the time. See this big gap up here in the front. This is a jig we made with a couple dowels and a hold down. We just give it a cut. Pretty simple jig to [music] make. And here's the results. They say they're adjustable, but we've yet to have any that we didn't have to cut. Is this something you do?
