Snow Plowing a Long Icy country Road

frankie's working up north on a project and called me and said they were getting between two and three inches of snow well this was december 22nd and sam and i still hadn't gotten much snow to make you guys a plowing video so we hop in the truck and decide to head north and chase us some [Music] snow so but before we can even start the plowing video we needed to get my 32 year old four-wheeler running this one is so old i don't even have to register it 1987. so that means this is [Music] seven 32 some twenty thirty two yeah cause i'm 91 i'm 29. this thing's three years older than i am [Music] oh my god and she popped off right away [Music] now i don't have any accounts up north but i do have 160 acres of land and to get to it there's a minimal maintenance road that i was gambling wouldn't be touched and there's also the cemetery the place that i plan on spending a whole lot of time when i'm no longer with this world and i figured there's a good chance that sam and i could maybe get some plowing in for you guys so you guys want to see uh a kind of a fun video that i'm working on kind of hesitant about doing it but sam and i took that four-wheeler just through my woods scouting my hunting trails i didn't know if that'd be of interest to you so this is the road to get out to my hunt land [Music] [Laughter] [Music] this land has been in my family for three generations [Music] and we've maintained we've basically been the only ones that maintain this road and these roads are iced because we didn't get much snow up to this point yet up in northern minnesota just a few select events but while sam and i are up here filming this i get the phone call eight to nine inches of snow as expected back at home so we hurry up get this one done to get hit the very next day with what we call the christmas eve blizzard it was it was the flipping coldest thing ever watch this thing bounce this is with the float working see now i can put down pressure on as well if i wanted to so that the plate would stay stable and not bounce at all but when i'm going down a slippery road i want to have all four wheels firmly planted the these bag plows have enough down pressure that you can lift the entire back end of the truck off now you're going to see me plow in reverse right here this is the way we do the majority of our plowing on our big massive commercial lots and a lot of guys are like hillsborough there goes his reverse gear in his transmission we've got these plows on four trucks and we've been using them for four years now never a single transmission issue on any of them so the second uh snowstorm we had tim's like well i don't want to film anything yet because i'm not really comfortable with it it's a 30-second learning curve look at this look at this though there's what is that five five buttons on there and technically when you hit these two at the same time they both come in so i hit these like that both wings go out here i'll keep going you can see them go out yeah yeah and then when i hit both of these buttons here at the same time swings them back in [Music] what's up all right let's go out and test it some more spots wanna hop in just to be clear this is the new boss backdrag plow this is not the same one that i filmed a couple years ago that had all the issues after that video was filmed boss actually went well let's redesign this thing and they literally now made what i consider to be probably the ultimate black drag plow i still love my snow powers but this is the snow power design that they used at through a license agreement it's my understanding and then they went the next level with it and beefed it up and this is a 9900 all right guys just a quick question would you guys actually be interested in a video where we take out the utv and or the atv into the woods and just tour some of our different hunting stands it's not really what i normally do on a channel oh here's the uh cemetery this overlooks our land so i wanted to uh come in here got to be kind of careful because i don't want to windrow any snow onto the graves so in here i want to make sure that i contain everything and put it right in its dedicated spots there's some pretty cool little tombstones here like yeah this gentleman right here born in 1857 died in 1911 dude's been under the ground for a little while well that's our video for today guys i snowstorm and what happened during that one is literally epic not kidding i'm so but i'm not gonna rush that one in front of the december 23rd one and then somewhere in between there we also take the uh a truck and reverse it versus skid steer in three different lots um and that's my message that it's time to go god bless go get him you guys we'll see on another one
