What happens here

To confirm the integrity of the plumbing, a water pressure test is conducted. The mixing valve is capped, and the hot and cold water supply lines are connected to a pressure gauge. Water is turned on, and the pressure is monitored. The worker checks for any leaks at the connections. A successful test, with no pressure drop or visible leaks, indicates the plumbing is secure.

Goal: A water pressure test is performed on the newly installed plumbing lines to ensure there are no leaks before covering them with tile.

[Music] now uh we're not using copper as an old school way this is the new mixing valve we're gonna get these adapters that didn't come with this mixing valve put on with teflon tape and then some of the extensions like this drop ear that's coming up up there they have a pex adapter to it and all pex is is these crimping rings with a plastic made material kind of like this it slips on and you use a tool that pressurizes it and clamps it in place very tight more effective than the crimping tool the small little one the water is turned on nothing is leaking which is a huge good sign for us we have successfully made a good installment
