Shut Off Water Supply and Check Tank

What happens here

Before beginning any work, ensure the water supply to the toilet is completely shut off. The video demonstrates a quarter-turn style valve, which is usually straightforward to turn. Once the water is off, lift the toilet tank lid to check for any remaining water inside the tank and bowl. This will need to be removed in subsequent steps.
