What happens here

This project involves installing a toilet flange extension kit to raise the height of the toilet flange. This is necessary when new flooring has been installed, causing the original flange to be too low. The process includes unpacking the kit, placing a foam gasket, securing the extension flange with screws, installing new closet bolts, and finally placing a new wax ring in preparation for reinstalling the toilet.

Now we are going to pop in this OD set right toilet flange extension kit. I've been seeing these everywhere and we need to raise this up a quarter inch above the finish floor. Phone gasket, that's what's going to go down on top of the flange, flange that sets down inside it. It comes with some big old stainless steel screws and a bunch of different other extension pieces. I get that fits in there really well. Don't need a space here right now. This bad boy set around right here. That is way better than what it was. I don't like using these little cheap washers right here. I always just use an extra set of nuts and washers. These are self tapping screws and it's taking a bit to get through that flange. Gas kit looks like it's nice and compressed down there. Now we're going to install our wax ring. This is a standard wax ring. There's no horn. I like to push it straight down on. Give it a quarter turn.
