What happens here

Two types of liquid pre-treatment application trucks are presented. The larger unit holds 1,300 gallons and has a spray bar that can cover two lanes of traffic, pre-treating approximately 26 acres with one tank. This unit is ideal for large sites and roadways, where it can apply 40-42 gallons per lane mile (equivalent to one acre). The truck is equipped with a GPS system to track the amount of salt applied. A smaller SnowEx liquid application unit, holding over 300 gallons, is mounted on a 1-ton truck. This low-profile unit is designed for parking ramps and smaller structures, capable of treating around 6 acres. Rubber guards are installed on the back of trucks to prevent rust and splatter from salt. The ability to produce their own brine makes them less susceptible to salt shortages.

Goal: Demonstrate specialized trucks for efficient liquid brine application on varying site sizes.
