Shut Off Water Supply

What happens here

Begin the toilet rebuild project by first locating the water shut-off valve behind the toilet. Turn this valve clockwise to completely shut off the water supply to the toilet. This is a critical safety step before performing any work on the toilet. If the shut-off valve is faulty or old, it is recommended to replace it at this stage before proceeding.

Goal: Isolate the toilet from the water supply.
