Install New Flush Valve

What happens here

Begin installing the new flush valve. First, place the flush valve mounting plate with its three bolts onto the outside of the tank, aligning it with the bolt holes. Then, from the inside of the tank, insert the new flush valve through the center hole, ensuring it has its red seal properly in place. Secure the flush valve with the large white plastic nut from the outside of the tank, hand-tightening it first, and then using large channel locks to firmly tighten it without overtightening.

Goal: Secure the new flush valve in the toilet tank.
