Rolling Up A Paint Sprayer Hose. Paint sprayer hacks.

This is Chris, the Idaho painter. In this video, we're going to show you how we go about rolling up an airless spray hose. If it's your first time user using an airless sprayer, this hose can be extremely difficult to roll up. And I'm going to show you two methods that are quick and simple methods of rolling up an airless spray hose. And to start off, when you're getting ready to roll up this hose, you want to make sure that you actually release the gun trigger and make sure that there's no pressure in the hose. Because if there's pressure in the O's, it's a lot more difficult to roll off. And I'm going to show you a method that I use to roll it up. And unrolling it is it takes actually flipping the hose back and forth to unroll it. And then I'm going to show you another method or John will actually show you another method of rolling up a hose that it just actually comes all unwound pretty simply without actually flipping the hose. And just to start off, we got the hose. You're going to want to have it completely extended out and flat on the ground. And so there's no kinks or loops in it. And so we've stretched it out completely. And then how I go about rolling up this hose, I always hold the gun in my hand and then I start and I just start making loops and I actually turn and the hose has a natural tendency to want to flip in your hands. And I just flip it and then turn it. You can see the hose, it has to flip a certain direction to actually wind up. And so I'm taking turning this hose. And now you can see it's wanting to actually turn the opposite direction. So, now I flip the hose in my hands. And I'll just keep going. It's wanting to turn this natural direction right here. And I can feel it in my hands what direction the hose is wanting to twist. It's wanting to twist this direction. So then I just flip it that direction. And I can feel it twist wanting to twist. Now when I unwind the hose, when I roll it up in that method, I'm unwinding it. And I'm and I've got to twist the the loops out as I'm unwinding. And so this method, you're constantly flipping the hose, but you can see how simply when you get used to it, it'll unwind. And we got another method. We'll show you. John will roll up a hose and we'll show you another quick and simple method of rolling up an air airless spray hose. Now we got another method of rolling up the airless spray hose. And John's going to show you. He rolls it up this way. And he's actually turning the hose and flipping it in his hands. And it's a completely different way to roll up the hose. Make sure when you start that you release the pressure. the hose actually he just holds it in his hands and it all just unfolds. Now, I'll show you one. He'll show you one quickly or real slowly how to do it. How he flips it. So, he's turning his elbow just like that. And this is this method makes it a lot easier to unwind the hose when you're setting up the sprayer. This is a second method of rolling up an airless spray hose for anybody that's just a new user to using these spray hoses and finds it difficult to roll up the hose.
