Inspect the Completed Connection

What happens here

Once the press tool has completed its cycle, release the tool's jaws and carefully remove it from the fitting. Visually inspect the newly crimped fitting. For PEX press fittings, look for a uniform compression of the ring around the pipe. Many fittings, like those shown, have indicators (e.g., a blue ring that is crushed or changed) to confirm a successful press. Ensure there are no gaps or deformities that could compromise the seal. The connection should appear robust and ready for operation.

Goal: After the press is complete, remove the tool and visually inspect the newly formed connection to ensure it is secure and properly crimped.
