What happens here

This DIY project demonstrates how to replace an old, leaky single-hole faucet with a new one. The process includes removing the old faucet, cleaning the countertop, modifying the cabinet for a flat mounting surface, installing the new faucet with a proper seal, and connecting the water supply lines.

This faucet wasn't sealed that great, luckily that came off. Now we just pull this out. Looks like it's been leaking for a little bit down in there. That cleaned up a little bit. This faucet is not going to seal if it's not on a flat surface. I grabbed the fine multi-mask here. I guess we'll see if we have to cut more. Yeah, that's going to work out. Make sure O-ring is in the bottom of this before you put it in place. All right, that is what's going to seal into the single hole. There's put right down in there. Put the washer and the nut on. Not super tight because you need to center this. Once you get that set up and you know it's straight, just give it the final snug with this. This bad bleed is all hooked up. Get this tightened down.
