Shape Axe Blade with Metal File

What happens here

With the axe head still secured in the vise, use a metal file to shape and refine the cutting edge. Work carefully and deliberately, filing from both sides of the blade to establish an even and symmetrical bevel. This step helps create the initial geometry for a sharp edge.

Goal: Establish the basic cutting edge geometry of the axe.
