What happens here
After using the angle grinder, switch to a cordless drill fitted with a wire wheel. Use this to clean the inside of the axe head's 'eye' (the hole where the handle fits) and any other hard-to-reach areas where rust persists.
Goal: Thoroughly clean the inside of the axe head and crevices.
