REMOTE CONTROL FENCE BUILDING MACHINES! JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT YOU'D SEEN IT ALL!!

What happens here

The presenter introduces the Evo 2 prototype, a remote-controlled fence post driver. He demonstrates how the remote control system (FabriCom R) allows him to operate the machine from a distance. He instructs another person on how to insert a post into the machine's gripper. Then, using the remote, he drives the machine with the post to a desired location. He explains that the remote control features RPM adjustment and controls for all machine functions, allowing for precise positioning and driving of posts. This advanced model will eventually incorporate GPS for automated, precise post placement and depth control.

Goal: Demonstrate the remote control capabilities and automated potential of the Evo 2 prototype.

cool one so this is the Evo 2 prototype right here and this is a remote control system they've agreed to let me drive it around a little bit so this is going to be pretty fun what we're going to do is we're going to go ahead we're going to put a post in with the little grabber system I'd forget exactly what you call it but with the grabber roller system we're going to grab up a post now once this prototype is complete you'll be able to basically hit a button and it'll run and gun you just have to supervise what's going on and load the post in but it will put the post exactly where you want it in a perfect straight line with GPS it's gonna be super awesome it'll even drive the post to whatever height you want them to be driven by GPS if you want to post a six five feet out of the ground it'll drive it to five feet out of the ground release and move on to the next post really really cool this is the remote control system and we're going to give it a shot here so first thing we're gonna do is get a post in here we'll raise this post up we're just gonna drive out here and we're gonna put this post in the ground here's how we drive just the same as the other all the controls the little hand controls actually move as I'm working this controller so it's pretty neat pretty interesting very sensitive and very fun and that was backwards so you hear it bogging down a little bit we want to rpm up so there's just a switch here that I can click rpm down bring the RPMs up and drive really neat I'm standing ten yards from the machine okay so we're gonna stand this far away from this machine and we're going to go ahead and drive the post okay you can see right here this little dip switch is what control is the post driver we're going to move it up and down real slow there we go raise it back up bring our telescope in we're good to go I'm gonna go ahead and bring all the weights down on this thing so you'll slowly drop just like so and we'll drive away pretty cool so in a field type situation like this will hide along down in the field situation like this you would just drive to the next post and you just load up another post and drive it in the ground this is some really awesome machinery I'm SuperDuper excited that I got to show it to you guys today this is always
