Releasing fish into the FARM POND!! Education, new cows..and a surprise!

What happens here

After releasing the first bag of fish into the larger pond, the creator heads to an upper, smaller pond (approximately a quarter-acre) to release the second bag of 50 channel catfish. He repeats the temperature acclimation process by placing the bag in the water and measuring the temperatures, noting a 5°F (2.8°C) difference between the bag and pond water. He then carefully adds pond water to the bag with a Mason jar before allowing the fish to swim out. He mentions that channel catfish can grow to about 1.5 pounds in a year if fed, and about 1 pound if not fed. They reach full size around three years. He also shares that the world record channel catfish weighed 58 pounds.

Goal: Stock the smaller upper pond with channel catfish and provide facts about catfish growth and habits.
