Releasing fish into the FARM POND!! Education, new cows..and a surprise!
What happens here
The video opens with the creator, Josh from Stoney Ridge Farmer, introducing multiple activities planned for the day: introducing new cows, capturing a honeybee swarm, and stocking fish in their pond. He then drives a Cub Cadet utility vehicle to check on the existing cattle, discussing the hay bales in the background and their plans for future videos. He waits for his uncle to deliver two young heifers, which are approximately 6-7 months old and weigh between 450-550 pounds. They open the Featherlite livestock trailer using a chain lock on the gate and guide the new heifers into the pasture to join the rest of the herd. The new calves mingle with the existing cows and a donkey, creating an interesting dynamic.
Goal: Understand the day's farm activities and successfully integrate new heifers into the herd.
