After the first coat of clear coat has dried, the presenter checks the door surface for any rough spots. If rough spots are found, he lightly sands them with a fine sanding sponge. This step ensures a smooth base for the subsequent coat, preventing imperfections from being sealed into the final finish. Then, the second and final coat of clear coat is applied using the same airless spraying technique.
