Use Plenty of Water for Disposal

What happens here

Before operating the garbage disposal, turn on the cold water and let it run. Continue running the water while the disposal is grinding food waste. After turning off the disposal, let the cold water run for approximately 10 seconds to flush all ground food particles out of the drain lines.

Goal: Always run plenty of cold water before, during, and after using your garbage disposal to ensure food particles are flushed completely down the drain lines.
