Remove Old Bicycle Grips with Compressed Air
At 2:36 in
QUICK AND EASY BICYCLE GRIP REPLACEMENT!
What happens here
To remove the old grips, insert the tip of the air nozzle directly into the end of one of the handlebar grips, ensuring a tight seal as much as possible to direct air effectively. While holding the grip firmly, gently press the trigger on the air nozzle to release short bursts of compressed air. The air will inflate the grip slightly, creating a cushion of air between the grip and the handlebar, which significantly reduces friction. Simultaneously, twist and pull the grip off the handlebar. Repeat this process for the second grip. The compressed air allows for easy removal without the need for lubricants or excessive force.
Goal: Demonstrate the process of removing old, stubborn bicycle grips from the handlebars by injecting compressed air beneath them.
