Professional Finish with Spray Cans?! How to Get Airless Sprayer Results from a Can!

What happens here

The presenter begins by dusting off spider webs and other debris from the door using a duster brush. He then removes a guard plate from the doorknob using a cordless drill with a Phillips head bit. He states that he will clean the door with Krud Kutter concentrated cleaner/degreaser/stain remover to address its chalky surface, which could affect paint adhesion. He sprays the Krud Kutter onto the door and wipes it down with a rag, rinsing the rag in a bucket of water periodically. He also mentions the importance of cleaning the rag to avoid spreading contaminants. He demonstrates a simple test by wiping his hand on the door to check for chalky residue, indicating the need for further cleaning.

Goal: Prepare the door surface by cleaning and removing non-paintable hardware.
