Paint Walls and Remove Tape While Wet

What happens here

Immediately after applying and smoothing the caulk, proceed to paint the walls. Apply the wall paint over the masked and caulked edge. Once the painting is complete, and while both the fresh paint and the caulk are still wet, carefully pull off the masking tape. This immediate removal is critical to prevent the caulk from drying and creating a bond that would peel off the newly painted wall or caulk from the trim.
