Attach Spray Tip and Test Pattern

What happens here

After successfully priming the entire system, release the trigger on the spray gun. The sprayer unit should cease pumping, as it has built up full pressure. Now, securely screw the RAX guard onto the tip of the spray gun. Insert your previously selected spray tip (e.g., a 517) into the RAX guard. Before spraying on your project surface, direct the gun towards a safe test area or a piece of scrap material. Release the safety lock on the gun, then pull the trigger briefly to test the spray pattern. Observe the pattern for consistency; it should be uniform without any thin streaks or 'tails' at the edges. If the pattern is not optimal, you may need to adjust the pressure slightly (increase for tails, decrease for overspray) or ensure the tip is clean and unobstructed. Once you have a perfect spray pattern, your airless sprayer is fully set up and ready to begin painting.
