What happens here
Once the deck framing is complete, the surface boards are installed. This project utilizes composite deck boards, which are durable and low-maintenance, laid in a visually appealing pattern that includes straight runs and angled sections. Workers use impact drivers to secure the boards, often with hidden fastening systems for a clean, screw-free surface. Measuring tapes and chalk lines are essential for maintaining straight lines and consistent spacing. The installation also includes cutting boards to fit around structural elements and creating clean edges.
Goal: Install the finished walking surface of the multi-level deck.
