Apply Brass Darkening Solution

What happens here

Pour the Brass Darkening Solution into a non-reactive container, such as an aluminum foil pan. Wearing appropriate safety gear including gloves and eye protection, carefully immerse each brass handle into the solution. The brass will quickly begin to change color, transitioning from its shiny golden state to a rich antique brown or black finish. Observe the color change carefully, and remove the brass once the desired antique look is achieved. The video notes that as the solution becomes weaker with use, the darkening process might take a little longer.
