What happens here
New 1.25-inch PEX-A male threaded adapters are prepared for installation. First, multiple wraps (7-8 due to the thinness of the tape) of Teflon tape are applied to the male threads of the adapter. Following the tape, a generous amount of pipe thread sealant (MegaLoc) is applied over the Teflon tape to ensure a watertight seal.
