Edge and Corner Grinding

What happens here

After the main floor area has been ground, a handheld orbital sander fitted with an appropriate abrasive disc is used to grind the perimeter edges and corners of the floor. This ensures that the entire concrete surface, including hard-to-reach areas along walls and in tight spaces, receives the same level of preparation. The operator carefully works along the base of the walls to remove any remaining coatings or contaminants, creating a consistent surface profile across the entire floor.

Goal: Following the main floor grinding, a handheld orbital sander is used to prepare the edges and corners of the floor, areas that the larger machine cannot reach effectively.
